STAR TV- Special Program for Assistance to Gaza -
February 9, 2009
Doğan TV and the Turkish Red Crescent jointly organized an assistance campaign after Israel’s raids on Gaza, to support the population of the region. The campaign was implemented under the direction of Uğur Dündar, Star TV News Group President via the TV program “Arena Özel”. Names from the business world supported the campaign with donations of hundreds of thousands of Turkish lira and together with the support of the viewers, the campaign managed to collect TL 4.5 million of donations in two hours.
Kanal D - Eğitim Gönüllüleri Collaboration
Kanal D has supported the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) with news programs since its establishment and since 2003 has assumed the corporate communications sponsorship of TEGV. As part of this sponsorship, Kanal D broadcasts special three to four hour programs to its viewers on the TEGV, twice a year.
April 23 Telethon Campaigns
Since 2000, every year on National Sovereignty and Children’s Day - April 23, the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) organizes telethons -fundraising events broadcasted live - with the support of national TV channels. In 2009, the special “Educational Volunteers” night was broadcast live on Wednesday, April 22, at 23:00.

Lost Fairy Tales (Culture&Arts) Atlas Magazine
Ten thousand kilometer journeys spanning countless villages were made to bring together anonymous fairy tales for the first time. In the September 2009 issue, Atlas Magazine presented the book “Kayıp Masallar / Lost Fairy Tales” as a gift to its readers, delivering one of the greatest treasures of Anatolia to the masses.
Devotion to Seeds (Environment) Atlas Magazine
The Devotion to Seeds campaign was launched by Atlas Magazine in February 2009 with an article titled “Seeds of the Future” introduced the reader to the rich world of natural seeds. In the March 2009 issue, the magazine gifted natural purslane seeds to its readers. In the September 2009 issue, the town of Kirazlı was featured as a center of ecological agriculture in the Aegean region.
Müzekart (Culture&Arts)
Atlas presented its readers with a Müzekart (Museum Card) along with its May 2009 issue, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The card provides access to more than 300 museums and archeological sites managed by the Ministry for one month.

Capital Magazine CSR Research
Ever since 2005, Capital magazine has published the results of Corporate Social Responsibility Research that it carries out. This large scale study aims to bring to the forefront companies and business leaders that are widely appreciated for their corporate social responsibility activities and to promote corporate social responsibility. The event was organized once again in 2009 and included a questionnaire targeting members of the public and the business world.
Capital Magazine Supports “Resistance of Nature” Project
A photography competition titled “Resistance of the Nature” organized by the Young Environmental Initiative and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University’s Communications Club, focused on the harm being done to nature and one of the media sponsors of the events was Capital magazine.

Radyo D is Istanbul Modern’s official radio sponsor and in 2009, the radio fulfilled an important duty by publicizing the events and exhibitions held at the museum.
